SOA MASTERS PROGRAM ADMISSIONS DEADLINES:
The application review process will begin once all components of the application have been received. Applicants are encouraged to submit all required material as early as possible.
*International Applicants: The application deadline is a critical element of the application process as it allows the applicant time to make the necessary visa and travel arrangements. Applicants should strive to meet the deadline for full consideration.
NOTE: All applicants are required to submit two applications--one for The SOA Masters Program at OSU , and one to OSU Graduate College.
(A) MS in Accounting Admissions Process:
Admission to the M.S. Program is on a competitive basis. An applicant's academic record must indicate the intellectual capacity and motivation for professional success. To be considered for admission, the applicant should satisfy the following requirements:
- Overall GPA at least 3.0 (4.0 Scale U.S. Grading System)
- Major GPA at least 3.25 (4.0 Scale U.S. Grading System)
- GMAT Score at least 550
- Major GPA x 200 + GMAT Score = 1,200
- The applicant is required to submit transcripts of all collegiate work and letters of reference. On acceptance into the program, the applicant should schedule a meeting with the M.S. Coordinator to develop a plan of study and to initiate enrollment in classes.
To be admitted to the SOA Masters Program you must submit the following documents to the SOA Masters Program at OSU by the set deadlines (see above). TURN INTO THE SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTING OFFICE (RM. 401 SPEARS SCHOOL OF BUSINESS).
- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation.
- Resume
- Submit an Official GMAT score to the School of Accounting at OSU. The program code is VOW-5V-40. The GRE cannot be substituted, GMAT IS REQUIRED.
- International Students required to submit a minimum TOEFL Score.
(B) OSU Graduate College Admissions Process:
For more information about admission to Oklahoma State University Graduate College visit the college online at gradcollege.okstate.edu. To receive full consideration for admission, the OSU Graduate College must receive all application materials prior to deadlines. Required application materials include Graduate College Application, processing fee, and one set of original official transcripts.
