The Outstanding
Young Alumni award is to identify and recognize recent graduates from the William
S. Spears School of Business who are currently on a fast-pace to a successful
career. These individuals have been successful at OSU and also in their young
careers.
Nomination Criteria:
- Nominees must
be 35 years of age or younger during the year the award is presented.
- Nominees must
be graduates of the SSB with a B.S., M.S., M.B.A., or Ph.D. degree.
- Nominees should
have distinguished themselves while a student in the SSB and by success
in their chosen field since graduation. Nominees may have achieved success
in entrepreneurial, corporate, governmental, professional, or educational
areas. Success is measured in a number of ways, not solely by the accumulation
of wealth. Interest and concern for others is also significant, as measured
by the individual's involvement in worthwhile civic, human betterment, and
philanthropic activities or any combination of these.
- Individuals
holding a state or federal office are not eligible for nomination.
- Individuals
employed by Oklahoma State University are not eligible for nomination.
