The traditional on-campus course had 60 students, but this was offered as an alternative, said Robert Dooley, the Spears School associate dean for graduate programs and research.

“We need to better prepare our students for the global economy, and it is difficult do that with traditional classroom approaches,” Dooley said. “Students need to experience what it is like to collaborate on real-world projects that cross international boundaries in addition to experiencing different cultures firsthand.”
