Professional MBA

The Distance Learning Professional MBA is a 36-credit-hour program developed with the working professional in mind.
Designed to integrate the knowledge, skills and experiences necessary to help you further your career, the program allows for flexibility in course selection to best meet career objectives. Unlike other online or virtual MBA programs, the OSU Distance Learning Professional MBA incorporates the same teamwork focus as featured in a full-time MBA. You will get to know others earning their MBA degrees as you develop a team orientation that the business world values.

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in business, engineering or a related field from an accredited university and a minimum of three years substantive work experience. Applicants meeting the work experience but not the degree criteria will be considered on a case-by-case basis. A Graduate Studies Committee reviews applications prior to granting admission and works closely with students on their curriculum options during matriculation.

Because professionals accepted for the program have various backgrounds, no set curriculum for the program exists. Rather, each student in the program will work with the MBA program to develop a plan of study that takes into account individual background and career goals.
