This session counts as four hours toward CPFA, CMC and MMC certification. Another four hour institute session will be offered during the conference on Wednesday which will also count toward CPFA, CMC and MMC certifications.

Cancellation Policy

Because of guarantee requirements for meal functions, cancellations must be received by October 9, 2009, at 4 p.m. for a refund of fees.

Location, Fees, and Accommodations

All sessions will be held in the conference facilities of the Student Union at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Please note that Oklahoma State University is a tobacco-free campus. Parking will be available at the Student Union parking garage at $10 per day for all individuals including guests of the Atherton Hotel at OSU. Participants are asked to make their own hotel reservations. Rooms have been blocked at these Stillwater hotels.

Institute Sessions

Institute hours will be offered during the Pre-Conference and during the OMCTFOA 53rd Annual Conference. Four hours will be offered during the Pre-Conference and four hours will be offered on Wednesday, October 21, during the conference.

Note Room Change: 9:30-11:45 a.m. (419 Conference Room) Representatives will be available on Friday morning of the conference to answer questions and assist in the application process. If you need assistance, bring your transcripts and certificates from classes you have attended.

Attendance Policy Endorsed by Institute Committee

Full attendance is required to receive credit for Institute sessions. In order to eliminate disruptions to both speakers and participants, each session will only be open for the first ten minutes. Participants wishing to receive credit will be required to sign in at the end of each session. Participants arriving after the session is closed can still attend but will not receive credit for the session. Appropriate breaks will be provided to address personal needs or issues that arise while you are in the sessions. If you need to leave a session for an extended period of time, please wait until the next session to return. Speakers will be encouraged to adhere to the published agenda. However, if a session breaks early, the next session will not begin until the published time.

National Certification (CMC, MMC, CPFA and Advanced CPFA) Application Assistance

Bring all your documentation for inclusion of your application for your national certification. On Friday, October, 23, there will be IIMC and APT representatives available to assist you with your application. This will be individual assistance to allow you to ask questions specific to your application.
