Endowed Professorships: List of current Chairs and Professorships
The caliber of the SSB's educational strength and competitiveness is reflected by the quality of its faculty. Highly regarded in the academic world are those persons who hold endowed chairs and professorships. The presence of well-known professors on campus serves as a catalyst to both faculty and student enrichment. Private support is critical in helping to recruit and retain the best and brightest faculty to teach students and to continue important research that will bring prestige to the SSB. Because only earnings of the endowment are used to support these positions, an endowed chair or professorship becomes a perpetual source of funding. Each chair or professorship may be named for or by the donor, linking forever that name with a position that will be occupied by a continuing line of distinguished educators and researchers. Gifts to endow a faculty chair are matched by the State of Oklahoma.
There are two levels of endowed faculty positions:
1) Faculty Chair: Created through a donor gift of $500,000, equally matched by the State of Oklahoma, creating a $1 million endowment.
2) Professorship: Created through a donor gift of $250,000, equally matched by the State of Oklahoma, creating a $500,000 endowment.

Scholarships & Fellowships: List of current scholarships
You are invited to establish an endowed scholarship or fellowship to provide a continuing source of assistance for business majors. Besides making a positive impact on a student's future, an endowment is an enduring tribute to the person being honored. An endowed scholarship or fellowship may be established with a minimum gift of $10,000. Visit OSU Foundation Scholarship for information on how to set up a scholarship.
