This is a great way for students to practice their presentation skills, learn how to create and deliver an effective idea pitch, and potentially win $1500 in scholarships for the 2009-2010 school year. Remember, the intent to compete is due March 3.

MSIS Department to continue contract with U.S. Department of Defense
The Management Science and Information Systems Department received an additional $360,000 from the U.S. Department of Defense to continue development of an ammunition multimedia encyclopedia for the US Army. The encyclopedia will allow Army personnel to view a 360 degree image of various munitions along with the technical specifications. In addition to being a training tool, a mobile version, which can be loaded on a PDA, will assist in identifying munitions in the field. Leading the project are Drs. Ramesh Sharda, David Biros, Dursun Delen and Joyce Lucca.
