Study Abroad in Mexico or Chile and earn college credit over Winter Break!

Mexico: Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Mexico. Visit Mexico City, Puebla and Acapulco, and see the Teotihuacan pyramids, Castle of Chapultepec, Metropolitan Cathedral, National palace, stock exchange and more. This program provides an exciting introduction to the business climate and beauty of central Mexico. Coursework will begin on Nov. 15, 2009, with independent study through reading and video lectures via distance learning.

Chile: Enjoy an eight-day tour through the lands of South America immersing yourself in the culture, atmosphere, language, and education of Chile. Spears School home to new student organization

The Department of Management Science and Information Systems is proud to announce the formation of the OSU Information Security and Assurance Club (ISAC).

ISAC is an organization for students interested in computer security and hacking, and membership is open to all majors. The group hopes to gain a cross-departmental spectrum of students to work together in the interest of learning more about cyber-security.

Information Security is becoming an integral part of everything from international relations to everyday commerce, and ISAC will provide a great resource for students looking to gain a competitive edge in the Information Assurance Discipline.

Van de Ven is the author of Engaged Scholarship, which addresses ways to bridge the gap between academic research and managerial practice. Van de Ven envisions a co-production of knowledge where academics, business practitioners and other stakeholders combine their seemingly disparate skill sets to discover solutions for some of business’ biggest problems.

The answer largely lies here: For the first time, four generations are converging in the workplace. 2010 Oklahoma Economic Outlook Conference: What’s the Forecast?

The OSU Center for Applied Economic Research invites you to register for the 2010 Oklahoma Economic Outlook Conference on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, from 8:30am – noon in Oklahoma City. OSU Economists Russell Evans and Kyle Dean will be joined by industry experts in a discussion of national economic conditions and the prospects for economic recovery in Oklahoma.
