Outstanding students in any field of study may apply. It is normally expected that the applicant will have obtained a master's degree prior to the initial enrollment in the program, but exceptions may be made in appropriate circumstances. Students are admitted based upon the perceived likelihood of placement success in an academic career at other peer institutions. These factors include the standardized tests (such as GMAT) but also additional information that assesses research and teaching potential.
Factors Include:
- GMAT performance (600 minimum) - REQUIRED.
Our GMAT program code is: V0W-5V-03
- Business/industry experience
- Prior teaching experience
- If English is a second language, performance on TOEFL (625 minimum) (required of all International Students)
- Assessment of potential to conduct research (based on previous research papers, projects etc.)
- Letters of Recommendation
More detailed information may be found in the University Catalog.
Early in the program, an assessment of a candidate's ability and potential to conduct research will be made and will be used to decide whether a student can continue in the program.
