Students majoring in an area outside of the Spears School of Business can elect to earn a minor in the Spears School. Following are the rules govering this minor:

1. Students must have an average of "C" or better in all required courses.
2. "P/NP" grades are not acceptable in a course required for the minor.
3. Substitutions in minors are generally not permitted.
4. 18 of the required 27 hours must be taken in residence at OSU.
5. 6 of 9 hours (9 of 12 for MIS) for the specific minor areas (listed below) must be taken in residence at OSU.

The following identifies the courses required in each of the Spears School minors:

Accounting (ACCT)

27 hours. ACCT 2103, 2203, and 3103, and 6 hours of upper-division accounting; ECON 2103 or 2203; 3 courses from LSB 3213, FIN 3113, MGMT 3013, or MKTG 3213. GPA of 2.0.

Economics (ECON)

Entrepreneurship (ENTP)
