As you enter a graduate business program take a moment to reflect on your desired outcome. Ask yourself the following questions to begin developing an action plan based on your long term goal:
• Does your graduate program require an internship?
• Will you complete an internship in a program where it is not required?
• If you plan to complete an internship, would you like to stay in the U.S. or go elsewhere for the experience?
• Do you plan on seeking employment in the U.S. after graduation?
Knowing where (geographically) you want to work and live is a very important step in the career planning process. Spears School of Business Graduate Career Services offers access to data bases of U.S. employers willing to sponsor visas and assistance with developing
your job search strategy, but it is your responsibility to understand the requirements of legally working in the U.S. – To learn more visit
