Financing Your MBA
A graduate management education is one of the most important investments you will ever make. The returns can be measured in enhanced job opportunities, self-confidence and post-MBA success. A few options to consider are:

Graduate Assistantships:

The MBA Program has a limited number of graduate assistantships available for Full-Time MBA students at the Stillwater campus, and those carry with them tuition waivers for international and non-resident students. Health insurance through the Student Health Center is also provided for graduate assistants. Assistantships are awarded based primarily on GMAT scores. However, the admissions committee carefully considers all application paperwork before a final decision is made.

As a rule, graduate assistants work 10 hours per week for an assigned professor, and receive a stipend of $350/month ($1400 per semester). If you are interested in an assistantship, you should indicate this on the MBA program application; there is NOT a separate application for this.

Along these lines, we do not award scholarship monies until after a student has started our program, and there is no additional paperwork to submit prior to admission to the program.

Scholarship Opportunities:

The MBA Program has a limited number of scholarships available for domestic Full-Time MBA students at the Stillwater campus, and these are awarded on an annual basis in September. With funding provided by corporations or private donors, many have specific requirements that applicants must meet in order to qualify. Recipients are often selected on the basis of demonstrated academic achievement, managerial experience and managerial potential. Information and applications for individual scholarships are available after the start of the fall semester.
