Spears School doctoral students earn Phillips Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships

Seven doctoral students in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University have been awarded fellowships to assist with their dissertation research. Nathan Berglund, Blakley Davis, Jin Ho Jung, Joongseo Kim, Namrata Saikia, Adam Usman and Amir Hassan Zadeh are the recipients of the Paul D. and Lois Phillips Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship. This competitive award is given to Spears School doctoral students each year. Recipients are selected by a committee of faculty members based on a summary of the student’s dissertation research and a letter of recommendation from their dissertation adviser. “We thank the donors for supporting doctoral level research in Spears School of Business,” said Ramesh Sharda, vice dean of the Watson Graduate School of Management in the Spears School of Business. “These winners represent the best examples of doctoral students engaged in cutting edge research. This fellowship will support their research endeavors further.” Those receiving the Phillips Fellowship, their area of study, and the title of their dissertation are:
