Tom Brokaw presents ‘The Voice of a Generation’ to the Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings

Tom Brokaw, legendary television journalist, was the featured speaker Tuesday at both the Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings, sponsored by Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business. The 73-year-old impressed crowds at both the Mabee Center in Tulsa and the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City as he spoke on “The Voice of a Generation.” Brokaw has spent his entire distinguished journalism career with NBC News, beginning in 1966. He is the only person to host all three major NBC News programs Today, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press.

2013 Distinguished Accounting Alumni

The School of Accounting in the Spears School of Business honored three outstanding graduates as Distinguished Alumni during the 2013 Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet on Thursday, March 7. This year’s inductees into the School of Accounting Hall of Fame are Ann Bradshaw, an Indirect Tax Partner in the Houston office of Ernst & Young; Robin Dennis, the Chief Financial Officer for BP Russia based in Moscow, and Keith Schwarz, the Managing Partner of the Oklahoma City office of KPMG LLP.
