Shannon Carter shares the story of her company: Crayons to Computers (C2C). This company chartered in 1996, with a vision to provide school supplies needed to kids to help them succeed in school. C2C distributes donated, value purchased, and created product to needy classrooms through a teacher’s free store. C2C distributed $11.5 million worth of free school supplies to local classrooms during the 2009-2010 school year. Shannon explains what it has taken for her venture to be successful.
