William S. Spears School of Business (General) Scholarships

Although you can access and print the scholarship application at any time, this application must be accompanied by a transcript on which your Fall semester grades appear. Thus, the Dean's Office (201 Spears School of Business ) will begin accepting completed applications at the beginning of the spring semester. The deadline for turning in completed applications is 5 p.m. on the second Friday of February. You can also obtain a hard copy of the application in 201 Spears School of Business beginning on December 1.Majors in the William S. Spears School of Business (SSB) have the opportunity to apply for a number of different scholarships. A number of these scholarships have a perpetual existense because they are endowed. The others are made possible because of a yearly donation from the donor and may not always be available.

Most scholarship recipients are selected by a scholarship committee within the Spears School of Business. The same application blank is used to apply for most of these endowed or "yearly" scholarships - you can either obtain it in 201 Business Building beginning on December 1 or you can download it here.  You will be provided with and a link in the scholarship information below for any scholarship requiring an additional or alternate application.

This list includes information about the amount of each scholarship (most are a variable amount), as well as the criteria used in selecting recipients. All undergraduate SSB Scholarships require that the recipient be an undergraduate and enrolled full time in the William S. Spears School of Business.

William S. Spears School of Business Scholar Leader Scholarships
The generosity of a number of individuals and companies has enabled the Spears School of Business to implement a prestigious Scholar Leader Program.

Fifteen incoming freshmen are selected for participation in this program, using the OSU Freshman Scholarship Application as the basis for participant selection. Participants receive a scholarship each of their four years of continuous enrollment as an undergraduate. Renewal is contingent upon an acceptable level of continued participation in the Scholar Leader Program activities. Included among these activities are attending on-campus speaker programs, Tulsa Business Forums, Oklahoma City Executive Management Briefings, etc.

The criteria used to select participants for the program include a commitment to being a business major, a minimum of 25 on the ACT, freshman status, 3.2+ GPA (high school), and willingness to participate in Scholar Leader Program activities.
