- A kickoff
meeting for the Freshmen Business Student Leaders will be held on October 2 at 5:30 PM in 313 Student Union. Interim President Dr.
Marlene Strathe will briefly speak about how to put yourself in a position to
become a leader. After her talk there will be an organizational meeting for the
group that will wrap up by 6:30. Try to come a little early and get signed in,
because the President will start just a few minutes after 5:30.
Although the group
has "Freshmen" in its name, all grades and majors with an interest in
Business Leadership are invited to join and/or attend. There's no easier
organization to join -- simply send an e-mail with your name, major (or
intended major), and a contact phone number to ssb.fbsl@okstate.edu. We'll reply within a couple
business days with a welcome. That's it. We will maintain a list of attendees
at each activity, so that we can publish a list of "active members"
or those who attend at least half of the events.
