- Business Career Fair Scheduled for September 13
The Business Career Fair is scheduled for Thursday, September 13, from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Gallagher-Iba Arena. Students are encouraged to distribute their resumes as well as to dress professionally. To access a list of the companies attending, click here.
- Change in SSB Student Services URL
Spears School of Business Student Services Office has announced a change in its URL that students can use to sign up electronically for an appointment. The new URL is as follows: http://spears.okstate.edu/departments/stuserv/cal .
- Attention Business Transfer Students
Business transfer students are encouraged to attend one of the information sessions the SSB Student Services Office will host on September 18 and 19. Both sessions begin at 6:00 p.m. and are held in Classroom Building 103. Pizza will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, please call Jeff Bartlett at (405) 744-5069 or visit with him in his office at SSB Student Services, Business Building 201-L.
- Koch Industries to Present Session on Internships
On Monday, September 17, Koch Industries will present a session on internships. The program will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., in Business Building 124.
- Mock Interview Days Scheduled for September 19 and 20
OSU Career Services is hosting mock interviews on September 19 and 20 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Room 360 Student Union. Participants will be able to refine their interview skills with a practice interview conducted by an OSU employer. Participants are to sign up through their Hire System account on hireosugrads.com.
- Study Abroad Opportunities Available Spring and Summer 2008
SSB's Study Abroad and Travel Programs has announced its Spring and Summer 2008 study abroad opportunities. Participants are able to earn credit hours and will gain real-world experience in a number of locations. Applications are now available. - GMAT Test Prep Workshop Scheduled
A GMAT Test Prep Workshop has been scheduled for September 24 - November 19 on the Stillwater campus. Students planning to apply to the MBA Program must submit a GMAT score as part of their application materials. Details about the workshop and registration can be found by clicking here.
- Career Planning and Job Search Strategies (BADM 2010) Course to be Offered
Caleb Camp, career coordinator for Business Career Services, plans to teach a section of BADM 2010 that pertains to career planning and job search strategies. The course meets from 6:45 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights from October 3 to November 7. Among the topics covered are career development and the job search process, resumes/cover letters, internships, and interviewing strategies. Students enroll through Sectioning.
- Back-to-Business Bash Scheduled for September 12
The Back-to-the-Business Bash hosted by the Business Student Council will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the Library Lawn. The purpose of the Bash is to introduce those attending to each of the SSB's student organizations. Students in Freshman Orientation are reminded that they can redeem their ticket for free pizza and drink. Others can purchase pizza and drink for $2.
- Business Honors Organization to Meet September 12
The Business Honors Organization will meet on Wednesday, September 12, at 5:30 p.m. in Business Building 234. The topic of the meeting is Introduction to the Business Honors program. Pizza and drinks will be served. All business majors with an interest in the honors program are encouraged to attend. - ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholars Program Applications Being Accepted

Beta Alpha Psi has scheduled the following events during September: September 13 , Business 018: Representatives from KPMG will be speaking at 5:30; representatives from Grant Thorton will be speaking at 6:15. On September 13, Stillwater Parks and Rec Building: Beta Alpha Psi is hosting the Fall Fun Fest for Charity from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. On September 27, Business 018: Beta Alpha Psi is hosting PWC; at 6:30, it is hosting Delloite.
