Students are Reminded to Check Their Official Enrollment
Students are reminded to check their official enrollment for the fall semester to verify they are aware of each class listed. Occasionally, students are enrolled in classes they have never attended, which may result in a failing course grade.
Important Information About OSU E-mail Accounts
OSU considers students' OSU e-mail accounts to be the offical e-mail address, which means virtually all official OSU e-mail is sent to that address. If you do not check your OSU e-mail account regularly, having that e-mail forwarded to your personal e-mail account is strongly recommended. This change can be easily made using SIS (Student Information System).
Beta Alpha Psi Named Top 2006-2007 Student Organization
For the third consecutive year, Chi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi has been named as the top student service organization on the OSU campus. The honor was bestowed on Chi Chapter by the OSU President's Office. The award recognized Chi Chapter for its participation on campus and in the community by providing tutoring services, financial reviews, consulting for student organizations and community agencies, in addition to a number of other significant activities. Chi Chapter was also named as one of the nation's Superior Chapters at the National Beta Alpha Psi Annual Meeting in Chicago during the summer.
OSU Career Services to Host Resume Doctor on September 5 and 6
OSU Career Services will host its popular Resume Doctor sessions on September 5 and 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Student Union Atrium. Appointments are not necessary. Students who wish to use this service will need to bring their resume to the session so it can be critiqued by a career consultant prior to the Fall Career Fair.
SSB Career Services to Host Williams Companies Networking Event on September 6
The Williams Companies will host a networking event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on September 6 in the Oklahoma Room of the Student Union. Students will be able to network with employees of Williams Companies in Tulsa and will be able to learn about internship and full-time work opportunities. Williams Companies targets accounting, economics, finance, and MIS majors.
Afghan Women Entrepreneurs' Panel to be Held September 5
The Afghan Women Entrepreneurs' Panel will be held from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, in the Wes Watkins Center. A reception will follow.
Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization to Meet September 6
The Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization will meet on September 6 at 5:30 p.m. in Business 018. The speaker is Charlie Eitel, CEO and Chairman of Simmons Bedding Company in Atlanta. ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholars Welcome Reception and Orientation Scheduled for September 11
The ConocoPhillips SPIRIT Scholars welcome reception and orientation will be held Tuesday, September 11, at 5:00 p.m. in the ConocoPhillips Alumni Center Legacy Hall and Jones Seminar Room.

Beta Alpha Psi has scheduled the following events during September: September 13 , Business 018: Representatives from KPMG will be speaking at 5:30; representatives from Grant Thorton will be speaking at 6:15. On September 13, Stillwater Parks and Rec Building: Beta Alpha Psi is hosting the Fall Fun Fest for Charity from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. On September 27, Business 018: Beta Alpha Psi is hosting PWC; at 6:30, it is hosting Delloite.
