The goal of the Community is to
provide resources that will enrich the professional and educational advancement
of students currently enrolled in the Spears School of
Business.
Freshmen will gain knowledge through
faculty interaction, joining business organizations, listening to professional
speakers, and undertaking leadership opportunities on campus and within the
Spears
School.
The floor will create a strong bond
with the School to foster student development as well as a professional
mindset.

Two learning communities, which are
open to all classifications of students
Open to all majors within the
Spears
School
Half of the spaces (20) will be
reserved for freshmen and the rest for upper-class
students.
Village E
Village E is home to the Spears School of Business Community, which is located on the fourth floor.
The
Spears School of Business Community pairs freshmen and upperclass
students together to through the Apprentice/Mentor program. Faculty
involvement marks this program, and active participation in the
community is expected.
The remaining floors are open to any
major and classification of student. All of the bedrooms are private,
and forty percent of them feature private bathrooms. The remaining 60%
of the rooms share the bathroom with just one other person. All rooms
have ceiling fans, as well as cable TV and internet hook ups.
The
communities are small with only about twenty people per community. Each
community shares a living room, kitchen, laundry room, study room, and
patio. The living room features comfortable seating for viewing the 52"
high-definition TV. The fully-furnished kitchen is a perfect place to
cook community dinners. The laundry room is free, and accessible only
by your room key. All of Village E is WiFi, and it is alcohol free.
