Program Information

  • Earn 3 credit hours.
  • Attend class 6 sessions (some on Saturdays) from April 1-30, 2010
  • Travel: May 16-22, 2010
  • Stay in Downtown Chicago
  • Open to all majors. No prerequisites. To enroll students must have instructor’s approval.

Class will meet for six sessions (some on Saturdays) from April 1-30, 2010, on the OSU-Stillwater campus. These sessions will allow students the opportunity to bond as a group and learn more about specific trip details and business oppotunities.

While in Chicago, enjoy planned visits to Chicago Board Options Exchange, Thoma Cressey Bravo, Equity Residential, Monster.com, Merrill Lynch, the Field Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry, and a White Sox game.

Join award-winning professor Andrew L. Urich for his 20th year as a leader of student travel programs at OSU. Professor Urich believes deeply that travel courses provide students with a broader world view, an application for diversity and, most importantly, the opportunity to network, find your passion and gain confidence in your skills.

The focus of the course is on creativity and helping students develop their creativity and critical thinking skills. A series of activities, business meetings and eye-opening speakers will help students put their creative and innovative ideas to productive use in the business world.

Fee

$1,775 + Airfare.
OSU will assist in organizing your air travel but it is your responsibility to purchase your own ticket. Fee includes tuition and fees for three credit hours and lodging in Chicago. A deposit of $400 will be charged to your bursar’s
account at the time of enrollment; the balance will be billed to your account on April 15, 2010.
