Wallace Named Associate Editor of Journal of Management

(STILLWATER, OK, June 27, 2011) – Craig Wallace, associate professor in the Department of Management at Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business, has been selected to serve as an Associate Editor of the prestigious Journal of Management.

Wallace will begin his three-year term July 1, 2011.

“To be invited to serve as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Management is a big honor. I am humbled to accept this role,” said Wallace, the Donald Brattain Professor and research director for the Executive Ph.D. in Business program at Oklahoma State.

“There are wonderful things happening in the Management Department in the Spears School. This is further evidence that the Department of Management is rapidly moving toward the upper echelons of management research on an international stage,” said Wallace.

The Journal of Management (JOM) is rated as the sixth best business publication (out of 87) and the fifth best management journal (out of 112).

The publication is peer-reviewed and published bi-monthly. It is committed to publishing scholarly empirical and theoretical research articles that have a high impact on the management field. JOM encourages new ideas or new perspectives on existing research. Areas covered include strategic management, organizational behavior, human resource management, organizational theory, and entrepreneurship.
