Spears School will award more than $1 million in scholarships at 2016 Scholarship Banquet

The 2016-17 school year will be rewarding for Spears School of Business students at
Oklahoma State University.
The Spears School will award more than 500 scholarships to business students, totaling more than $1 million. The Spears School of Business Scholarship Banquet was held August 28 in the Student Union Ballroom on OSU’s campus. Dean of the Spears School Ken Eastman opened the banquet with remarks, and associate dean for undergraduate programs Karen Flaherty presented several of the scholarships to the recipients, with the remainder of scholarships to be awarded at a later date.
“The banquet is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our scholarship donors and the students who have been awarded these scholarships," Eastman said. "The banquet also allows donors and students to get to know each other personally share their stories with each other.”
