Tessa Recendes is a PhD candidate in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. Her research takes a behavioral approach to strategic management by focusing on the socio-cognitive forces that shape firm action and performance. Specifically, her research focuses on organizational identity and the driving forces behind top management team behavior. Prior to joining the doctoral program, Tessa worked in digital marketing and professional sports. She earned an MBA (2013) from University of North Texas and a BBA in Sports, Sponsorship, and Sales and Economics (2009) from Baylor University.
