Jaclyn Prentice is an Assistant Professor at OSU where she teaches Intermediate Accounting. Dr. Prentice joined the faculty in 2016 after completing her PhD in Accounting at the University of Arkansas. Her research interests focus on auditing and corporate governance-related topics, including audit quality, auditor characteristics, internal control, information technology, and tax avoidance. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Prentice spent eight years working in public accounting at CF Accountants & Consultants. She finished her professional career as an Audit Manager. Dr. Prentice still maintains her CPA license (in Oklahoma and Texas).
